The Centurion Club Whether you are an active Rotarian or not you can contribute to the great work of Rotary in a personal way by supporting The Rotary Foundation by donating A$100 per year (or more if you wish) to the Centurion Club. All donations are tax deductible & each donation is deducted from the $US100 that our Club has pledged to The Foundation each year on behalf of each member of our Club. There are currently only four financial members of the Centurion Club in our Rotary Club. Other members have made donations in past years & it would be wonderful if every member could participate this financial year. Here's a chance to make a difference. June ,International Director Just for a laugh From PP Roy: The Miami police received reports of illegal cockfights being held in the area and sent their best detective to investigate. He reported to his captain the next morning. "There are three main groups involved in this rooster fighting" he began. "Good work. Who are they?" the sergeant asked. "The Irish, the Polish, and the Mafia." Puzzled, the sergeant asked, "How did you find that out in one night?" "Well," he replied, "I went down and saw an actual rooster fight down at the docks. I knew The Irish were involved when a duck was entered in the fight." The sergeant nodded, "I'll buy that. But what about the others?" "Well, I knew the Polish were involved when somebody bet on the duck." "Ah," sighed the sergeant, "And how did you figure the Mafia was involved?" "The duck won." From PP Roy: A vulture boards an airplane, carrying two dead raccoons. The stewardess looks at him and says, "I'm sorry, sir, only one carrion allowed per passenger."
