| | December | We cook the BBQ for the Sydney Bikers Toy Run - a coming together of hundreds of motorcycles, some decked out with Christmas decorations, but all loaded with toys which are handed over to the Salvation Army at Horsley Park Showground. Bring the family - the kids love it! Raffle, BBQ, Drinks available 10.30-1pm. | Everyone is welcome - it is a sight to behold as the motor bikes thunder in around 11am. | | December | This is the big one. All of our members, together with local residents get together to host Carols In The Park. [Click here for more info] Come and join the thousands (and, yes it is thousands) of mums, dads and kids from about 6pm-10pm. Clowns till 6.30pm, pony rides till 7.30pm, facepainting, hot and cold food and drink, ice-creams, local school acts, Green Valley Youth Choir, carol-singing with The Eastern Charms and Vince Foti, displays from Rural Fire Service, SES and Police, huge raffle, FREE Parking, Master of Ceremonies radio & club personality PETE GRAHAM, fabulous fireworks display from Foti International Fireworks and a visit from SANTA! And all this is SIMULCAST LIVE on Radio 2SWR 99.9FM from 7pm-10pm. 2007 beneficiaries are not finalised but will include Rural Fire Service and our own Rotary projects. Other recipients of funds raised are Bossley Park Scouts, Horsley Park Primary School, Marion Primary School, Our Lady of Victories Church, St John Ambulance, and the State Emergency Services. | Get there early to grab your spot in front of the stage!
